Singapore - Kuala Lumpur (10th December, Backpacking style)

The whole trip was another rush. I got my coach tickets to KL, changed currency and packed just before the day I left. The 6 hours ride to KL was pretty much boring with nothing interesting to watch on TV (Except for the re-run of Mr Bean's Holiday and some cartoons). Arrived in KL at late noon, met Shirly and then I bunked at her hostel. We left my bags there and she brought me out for dinner and get a hitch of KL's transport system.
They call this Chicken Nepoleon, and it's only 10RM. Basically it's hot dog wrapped with ham, cheese and chicken. As you can see, deep fried; sinful. I've been to this place before with the Gold Team the other time I was in KL. Looks like they serve really good food!

Mee Raja, they call this lady. In english it meant Emperor's Noodles, pretty tasty but a little too salty for me. Shirly was trying to stuff me with food, I could hardly finish this noodle after my chicken. This dish is for 7RM.

And this is a must-try drink when you visit the place. It's made up of mango and all kinds of fruits. I forgot what's the name, but it's really famous. The mango was super, you can really taste those bites

Here's Shirly and me! Thank you sister for offering me a place to sleep that night? I can so imagine myself spending the night in KL's airport if it weren't for you. Thanks also for arranging my transport to LCCT early next morning for my flight! Again, if it's weren't for you, I'm pretty sure the taxi driver will kill me with the fare.

Aside from food and friendship in KL, my eyes were opened to KL's transport system. On the street, you can literally just flag a bus down! Buses doesn't come on time and for some bus company, 2RM is all you need to ride the bus all day. I gave thanks that Singapore's transport system wasn't ran the way it was in KL.

After dinner, I bought some stuff and it's back to the hostel. I helped out Shirly and friends with their english homework and camped for the night. The journey shall continue in my next post of "Kuala Lumpur - Vientiane - Vang Vien"
