We left Reykjavik last Wednesday on the 29th August. After 5 days of sailing, we arrived at Cuxhavan, Germany on the 3rd Sept. The sailing went fine, wasn't that much of seasickness. On the last day of sailing, the sea got rough. To prevent any seasickness, I sat at the deck with the cold wind of North sea blowing. Though it was cold, but it gave me some quite time alone to think and meditate on what God has done.

Then as I look out to the open sea, I realize how great our God is. The sea is so huge, really very huge and chompy, yet each time we sail we were able to reach our destination. This must be God's grace protecting His ship! Every time we sail, there will be seagulls flying side by side by the ship and I just can't help but wonder where they get the strength from? The wind is strong, the distance from one land to the other is so wide... yet they flew and flew... See, if God protects the seagulls... surely He will protect His children!

Here are some pictures taken in Reykjavik! Standing in the middle of the street just to get this shot. (Yes, there are cars coming)
Aino from Finland and Grace from Singapore jumping along the way to the beach
We found this by the beach, but it's too heavy to carry home!

Cuxhaven is a beautiful place, though we've only been here for 2 days or so. Shops closed at 8p.m not much of night life. My ship family and I were out yesterday loooking for a place for ice cream.... we walked and we walked... all the shops are closed and it's only half past 8! Finally we found one not too far away.

It was my ministry day today! I love ministry day! Helped out in the official oppening and then went to town for national parade. We wore our national custumes and gave out flyers. We caught a lot of attention, hence many asked where we were from. I hope more people would come to visit the ship! Of course, Singapore doesn't have national custumes, I wore a korean custume... HAHAHAHA! Shall upload the pictures soon.

I'm really enjoying my time on the ship. Going home now is not on my mind. I did mention before I'm not a home person! For the past few days I had dreams about going back to Singapore to my parents' place... it wasn't a good dream. I dreaded going back to my parents' place, in the dreams and in real life. I can't explain by words why I had never like going back to my parents' place... I guess I never will. Born free, that's what some people called us.

Well, pray for me. Sooner or later I still would have to be home...

Till then, I will update again!

勇敢走出去

我並不完美 也並不特別
而祢卻是為我捨棄生命的主

我時常軟弱 有時會迷惑
但祢是道路真理和生命

(Chorus)
主祢要往哪裡走 我就跟祢走
領我走到世界盡頭 一生不再回頭
讓世界聽到我們敬拜 我們的禱告
讓復興從我們開始 將主愛帶到人群中

(Coda)
縱然有許多的問題
我也不放棄祢大能賜給我勇氣
我會勇敢走出去

Last few days of SIP, stress + more stress. Webpages parked wrongly, people requesting to have this and that, big shots that refused to give me their input, want me to do documentation when they already have one, presentation to different department heads, create new picture for EACH of the department, linkage problem because of server, uploading blues....

Felt bad that after I'm gone, Fred will have to take over my work. Those people are so.... :S
All I want is to finish my task assigned.
