Luang Pa Bang (14th December, of Kuang Xi Water Fall, jumping into cold water and rubber band noodles)

We wanted to wake up a 6a.m to catch what Luang Pa Bang's morning would be like. The alarm rang and rang, we snoozed and snoozed. Finally I just stuck my phone up Glor's ears and that's it. We slept somemore and woke up like 10a.m. We didn't know what to do, where to go or what's gonna happen. In the end we decided on dropping by Kuang Xi Water Fall, which is a good 40km away. Our guesthouse owner offered to drive us there for 150 000 kips per tuk tuk. We thought Toby might want to come along, which will make the cost lower. But he met his lady lao and got company. We bargained with that guy and in the end settled for 130 000 kips.

The water fall was nice, blue water and not forgetting freakingly cold as well. This time I was more daring then the swinging moments, I keep asking Gloria if she wants to jump in. We did, we jumped from the tree and then from the cliffs. When Gloria told me that she's jumping straight in without getting into the water first, I stared as her as though she was from space. I was like, "You're kidding me right? We're gonna die!" That crazy woman did jump in the end and I follow. As you can see, we didn't die.

We spend a good half hour in that cold water before heading back. The day past by quickly, mainly because we sleep half of it away. Headed back to town, shopped awhile before Gloria's hunger took over her. When Gloria is hungry, do not do anything funny with her.

We settled for Pad Thai by the road side bar. Gloria said the man must have ran out of noodles and went to the shop to grap rubber bands instead. Those noodles really do taste like rubber bands. We had our beer lao and then off to another round of massage. The massage place was comfortable, I could so fall asleep in there.

Back at the guesthouse we wanted to watch bukle's list, but again that woman was too sleepy and fell asleep..
